Overview:

The Music Chamber goes into great lengths to provide the finest quality of tutoring with the focus on teachers and methods employed. We know from experience that in most cases students cannot fulfill their passion for music because they could not get along well with their teachers. We believe that music is for everyone. But above all, it should be fun and inspiring to children and adults alike.

All our teachers are highly acclaimed musicians, who have graduated from respected music academies and enjoy long experiences in teaching. New methods and workshops are regularly introduced to enhance communication skills.

The Music Chamber also offers our students to opportunity to sit for the leading Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). It is an internationally recognized body representing four academies of Music in Great Britain. We are proud to announce that our students are examined at our premises and achieve high marks since our teachers have many years of experience in this particular field.

All our applicants must undergo an aptitude test, which is designed as a joint exploration into the applicant’s musicality. Based on the results of this exercise, our professors can provide consultancy as to the instrument they believe the students can excel at, the frequency and length of each session.

Of course, the final choice is for the applicant or her/his parents. The duration of each session varies from 30 minute for children below eight years to a full hour. The fees are divided almost proportionately, please see Student Offers and Student Packages for the prices below:

The Music Chamber offers learning group lessons for violin, guitar and percussions instruments. Groups are only formed when at least four applicants have signed up. In group learning sessions, students will learn the perfect posture of holding their instruments, develop techniques, read notes, and play famous pieces and etudes.

ABRSM stands for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. It is an internationally recognized body representing four academies of Music in Great Britain. Hundreds of thousands of students in more than 90 countries around the world sit for these exams every year. We are proud that these exams are held at our premises twice annually – in May and November of each year.

How many levels are there at ABRSM?

There are many grades in which students are assessed. They start from the preparatory grade to grade eight. Professional diplomas are also available for more advanced students.

What is the difference between ABRSM and Trinity?

We don’t like to make comparisons. But our professors, some of whom have more than 20 years experience in preparing students for ABRSM, believe in the system as an excellent measurement of the skills and musicality of the students. It is a good system that is recognized internationally and allows great scope for advancement and progress.

What are the requirements for the students prior to the ABRSM?

We provide our students with a rich repertoire – that is a variety of pieces and songs. The requirements for ABRSM are not so huge, so our students are usually better prepared than others for these exams.
